Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, company) when you create an account or contact us. When you connect GitHub or Jira, we receive OAuth tokens and read-only metadata: pull request titles and statuses, issue summaries and transitions, and repository names. We never access raw source code or commit diffs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to provide and improve the Service, generating delivery summaries, detecting blockers, and producing AI narratives. We do not sell your data to third parties. Aggregated, anonymised usage data may be used to improve our models.
3. AI Processing
LiveIndexuses DeepSeek to generate delivery narratives. Metadata about your Work Units (PR titles, statuses, Jira summaries) is sent to DeepSeek's API for inference. No raw code or personally identifiable information beyond project metadata is transmitted. DeepSeek's data processing is governed by their own privacy policy.
4. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with strict security rules. OAuth access tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not store raw source code, commit content, or file diffs. We use industry-standard TLS for data in transit.
5. Data Sharing
We share data only with the infrastructure providers necessary to operate the Service (Firebase/Google Cloud, DeepSeek, Stripe for billing, Brevo for transactional email). We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
6. Client Report Sharing
When you generate a shareable client report link, anyone with that link can view the selected Work Units. You control which data is included and can set expiration dates or revoke links at any time.
7. Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your account data at any time from Settings. To request full data export or erasure, contact us at hello@liveindex.app. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, your data enters a read-only state for 30 days before being permanently deleted. API call logs are retained for 90 days for billing and debugging purposes.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
